These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CornerCapture website at cornercapture.com, the CornerCapture dashboard at app.cornercapture.com, the CornerCapture video widget, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and "you" refers to that business.
1. The Service
CornerCapture lets you add a video widget to your website so visitors can watch videos you publish and send you video, audio or text messages and reviews. We may update, improve or change features of the Service from time to time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at hi@cornercapture.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- The Service is offered on a paid subscription basis. Current pricing is shown on our website at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method for each renewal.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
- Prices do not include taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
4. Your content
"Your Content" means videos, images, text, and other material you upload to the Service, and messages, reviews and recordings that visitors submit to you through your widget.
- You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transcode, display and distribute Your Content only as needed to provide and improve the Service for you.
- You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have all rights and permissions needed to upload and publish it, including the consent of anyone who appears in it.
- If you collect videos, reviews or messages from your visitors, you are responsible for getting any consents required by law (for example, consent to record and to publish their testimonial) and for providing your own privacy notice to your visitors.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that exploits minors;
- send spam or misleading content, or impersonate any person or business;
- publish fake reviews or testimonials, or present content in a deceptive way;
- distribute malware or interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or reverse engineer the Service;
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission;
- violate any applicable law, including privacy, consumer protection, and anti-spam laws.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, video processing, email delivery and payment processing. Your use of the Service may also involve third-party websites or platforms you connect to it (for example, your own website builder). We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
7. Availability and support

8. Intellectual property
Apart from Your Content, the Service, including its software, design, and the CornerCapture name and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks or branding. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we are required to by law. After termination, we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period. Please download anything you want to keep before you cancel.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CornerCapture will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold CornerCapture harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
